Rehab & Performance Physical Therapy

What it is all about at Reset PT

  • One on one interactions that allow active individuals and athletes to achieve personal growth and have gained something valuable from every visit. That could be: improved understanding of factors that affect recovery, having less pain, progressing towards goals that will ultimately lead to success in achieving their physical goals so they can enjoy being active.

  • Achieving success quickly and having fun while you are doing it. Making the switch from working at larger private practice clinics to seeing one client at a time has allowed me to get people feeling better much faster and with less frequent and less overall visits. It has also allowed me to get to know them better and tailor visits based off their unique needs and personal preferences.

  • A relaxed and supportive environment for you to be able to focus on restoration and performance.

Physical Therapy that fits your schedule-

  • Independent physical therapy program: A written program with access to on-line photos and videos. Programs are developed based off a thorough interview and evaluation. Follow-up's can be scheduled in person or on-line.

  • Physical therapy 1xweek for acute and chronic injuries and pain:

Interview & evaluation, Follow-up visits once per/week. Progressing to every other week.

Visits consist of a blend of: exercise and manual to help you reach your goals in addition to a written program that can be accessed on-line.

  • Post-op physical therapy:

Interview & evaluation, follow-up visits once per week in person + once a week video check in. Or twice per week in person. Rehab from the first visit and extending to getting you back to activity and sport. Post-op recovery takes a team approach with the client, physician, and PT. Post-op recovery also takes a solid commitment from the patient to achieve the best results and often involves 8-16 weeks of care.

Current:

I love what I do. There is not enough time in the day for me to dive into all of the literature and courses that interest me in the fields of physical therapy, strength & conditioning, and Jiu-Jitsu. The entirety of my career has been focused on applying that knowledge and seeking the best results in private practice outpatient physical therapy.

Curiosity, wanting the best for my clients, and connecting with people shapes my work.

As does my personal obsession with movement. Movement is medicine, and good for the soul.

My movement obsessions include:

Training Jiu-Jitsu at El Dorado Hills Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu 2-4 days/week

Weight lifting and conditioning 2 days/week.

My seasonal side hobbies include going too fast on my snowboard, paddleboarding, indoor rock climbing, easy hikes with my fam, and gardening. Once upon a time I ran a Tough Mudder, worked at a Pilates studio/PT clinic, and practiced Pilates. I grew up wakeboarding and skateboarding, and spent a good chunk of time running and cycling outdoors. Living an active lifestyle has always been my jam, and I am here to support you wherever you may be on your active journey.

I am also a Mom of 4, a wife, parent assistant coach for a kids Jiu-Jitsu class, and help out at my kids school. I get it when clients say they are busy.
